How to Run the Devon and Torbay 11 Plus Mock at Home
Before the mock
- Print the test papers and separate answer sheets.
- Choose a quiet environment without interruptions.
- Read the supplied parent invigilation instructions before starting.
During the mock
- Follow the supplied paper timings.
- Call time and move between papers as directed.
- Avoid helping with individual questions once the mock has begun.
After the mock
- Mark the papers using the detailed answers and explanations provided.
- Identify why marks were lost — for example, knowledge gaps, accuracy, timing or exam technique.
- Look for patterns across English and Maths rather than focusing only on the overall score.
- Work on the most important weaker areas before attempting another Mock Pack.
