Why These Ripon Grammar School 11 Plus Mock Exams Are Different
These mocks are designed specifically around the current Ripon Grammar School 11 Plus test, rather than being generic 11 Plus papers with the school name added.
| Ripon-specific feature | What this means for your child |
|---|---|
| Current Ripon research | The mocks are reviewed against the latest reliable information available about the Ripon Grammar School entrance test. |
| Current two-paper structure | Each mock reflects the Verbal Skills paper followed by the Non-Verbal Reasoning and Mathematics paper. |
| English preparation | Children practise reading comprehension, spelling and grammar under the same overall section timing used in the entrance test. |

| Non-Verbal Reasoning | Children practise moving through two separately timed NVR sections, helping develop the speed and accuracy required by the test. |
| Maths preparation | Children practise applying KS2 Mathematics knowledge under the same overall section timing used in the entrance test. |
| Multiple-choice answer sheets | Separate answer sheets help children practise recording answers accurately under timed conditions. |
| Parent invigilation guidance | Instructions explain how to administer each section and when to call time. |
